Indian
Space Research Organization (ISRO) conducts exam for the post of technical assistant’s
for diploma candidates with first class result. Here exam syllabus of Assistant
Exam is discussed. Written exam of technical assistant is conducted in two
parts
Part A:
Consists questions on
(i)General
English
(ii)Reasoning
(iii)General
Knowledge
(iv)Computer
Literacy
(v)Arithmetic
Part B: It is
a descriptive type. It consists of
- Letter writing
- Comprehension
- Essay writing
- detailed writing
- Report writing
- General English
In this section the questions will be asked from
one word substitution, preposition, Active and passive voice, Sentence Error,
Sentence correction, Fill in the blanks, synonyms, sentence error, antonyms.
- General Knowledge and Studies
(i)General
Awareness
In these sections questions will be asked from
Current events, General science, Indian Polity, General knowledge, Indian
history and reasoning and ability.
(ii)General
Reasoning Ability and General
Intelligence
This part consists questions on both verbal and non-verbal
type. Cover questions on analogies,analysis,decision making, visual memory,
spatial orientation, problem solving,judgement,visual memory, spatial orientation,
spatial visualization, relationship concepts, coding and decoding, arithmetical
number series, statement conclusion etc.
- Arithmetic
This part consists questions on problematic
related to Fundamental arithmetical Operations, Simplification, Time and Speed,
LCM, Problems on Ages, Pie chart, Time and Work, Pictorial Graph, Average,
profit & Loss, HCF, Percentage, Simple & Compound interest, Ratio and Time,Discount,Ratio and Proportion etc.
- Computer Literacy
Syllabus and regular given for one year
certificate. The questions will be asked from computer basics such as internet,
BIOS, MS word, MS excel, input, output, memory, Software.
