ISRO Satellite Centre invites applications for JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW :

Age Limit : 18 - 30 years as on 30-12-2011 (35 years in the case of SC/ST and 33 years in the case of OBC candidates). Persons With Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders.

How to Apply :
  1. Applications will be received on-line only. Those applying for more than one post should send separate applications for each post. The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site between 10.12.2011 and 30.12.2011. Candidates may visit our website at www.isro.gov.in to register their applications on-line between 10.12.2011 and 30.12.2011. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
  2. The on-line application has to be invariably followed-up with a 'No Objection Certificate' from the employer concerned, by those already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Body or any organisation which is aided by Government, duly indicating the opening for which applied/post No. and Regn. No. on the reverse.
  3. There will be an Application Fee of. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) for each application (each post) Demand Draft details need to be filled-in at the time of on-line registration. Women, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempt from the payment of Application Fee subject to the conditions stipulated below.
  4. The candidate before filing his/her application has to take a DD for Rs.100/- from any of the Nationalized Bank in favour of the Accounts Officer, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore The applicant should enter the DD Number, date and name of the Bank in the space provided for the same in the web application. After filing the online application, the applicant has to send the DD with his/her Full Name (as entered in the web application), Post Number and Registration No. written on the reverse of the DD.
  5. Please note that the applications, in respect of which DDs have not been received with Name as mentioned in the on-line application and Registration Number on the reverse, will not be considered.
  6. Women, SC/ST, and PWD candidates will have to send the certificate indicated against each category, as below, duly indicating the Name, Post No. and Regn. No. on the reverse: Application of candidates claiming WOMAN / SC / ST / PWD Status and therefore exemption from payment of Application Fee will be considered only if the certificate, as below, is received within 10 days of filing of the on-line application and in any case not later than 09.01.2012.
  7. Women Candidate - Attested copy of PAN Card/Voter's ID Card/College ID Card/Passport/Driving License/ Ration Card OR Gender status indicated in certificate issued by the Principal of the College where last studied SC/ST candidates - Attested copy of Caste Certificate Persons with disabilities(PWD) - Attested copy of Medical Certificate indicating extent of disability issued by Medical Board
  8. The GENDER/SC/ST/PWD Certificate or the Demand Draft and 'No Objection Certificate' in respect of candidates employed under Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body should reach the Senior Administrative Officer (R&R), ISRO Satellite Centre, Old Airport Road, Vimanapura Post, Bangalore-560 017 within 10 days of filing the on-line applications by the candidates and in any case not later than 09.01.2012.
  9. If any information found in On-line application found to be wrong or false or incomplete, the candidate will not be interviewed and TA will not be paid.

Conditions/Instructions:
  1. Only Indian Nationals need apply.
  2. There will be an initial screening of applications based on factors such as qualification, percentage etc., vis-a-vis the number of applications and those screened in only will be called for Trade/Skill test and Interview, as the case may be.
  3. Outstation candidates allowed for interview will be paid to and fro Second Class Railway fare by the shortest route from the address given in the web application to the place of interview or Non-AC Bus fare, whichever is less, on production of proof of journey such as the Railway Ticket Number (s) / PNR Numbers (s) or Non-AC Bus Ticket/s or Air ticket & boarding pass etc., If a candidate travel in a higher class of accommodation than one prescribed by Rail or by AIR, only SECOND CLASS rail fare excluding reservation/sleeper charges will be paid.
  4. Physical applications will not be entertained.
  5. ISAC reserves the right not to fill any or all the posts, if it decides so. The number of vacancies indicated above are provisional and may be increased or decreased depending on the actual requirement of the organisation.
  6. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM WILL BE A DISQUALIFICATION. No interim correspondence will be entertained.
  7. 30.12.2011 (LAST DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS) will be the cut-off date for all purposes like age, qualification, etc.
