ISRO Exam Prep Tips to Clear Scientist Engineer Exam

AS ISRO exam is a demanding exam ( it has nearly the same syllabus as GATE, time is very limited and calculators are not allowed), it requires sharp focus and a thorough preparation. The candidates are advised to practice solving the questions in the same time frame as that the paper will be held so as to help candidate build up a routine to concentrate in the required time frame. 
How to build concentration
As soon as candidate get their admit card, they should note the time period in which the exam is to be held. Most exams are held during afternoon session and candidate are in the habit of sleeping or taking breaks for lunch during afternoons. That time period (same as the exam) should be utilized for practicing previous papers as that will help the candidate simulate a feeling of giving the exam.  Try to sit on a table and chair in a room without any disturbance. Keep a watch to help concentrate on  speed.

ISRO Scientist Engineer EXAM  ANSWER KEY
The Answer Keys will be published on the ISRO Website within three working days of the Written Test, i.e. on 08.05.2013. The candidates may raise objections, if any, within 10 da ys (i.e. on or before 18.05.2013) of publishing the answer keys in the website, to the e-mail icrb@isro.gov.in. Objections, if any, received thereafter will not be considered at any cost.

ISRO Scientist Engineer Application and Selection Procedure

ISRO Scientist Engineer SELECTION PROCEDURE:- The candidate should have First Class with minimum 65% marks in the Qualifying Degree ie, BE/B.Tech or equivalent for submission of application on line. Please note that the qualification prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for written test. Based on the academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be conducted for short-list candidates for taking-up written test. The written test will be conducted on 05-05-2013(Sunday) at ten venues viz Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
HOW TO APPLY ISRO Scientist Engineer: -
Candidates can apply online on ISRO web-site (www.isro.gov.in) between 12-02-2013 and 04-03-2013.
